Sitemodel Tips
So you want to be a sitemodel, eh? I've got some good tips to make your images and pictures as awesome as the pro's (like Sitemodels Paige, Lauren, and Frieda Rose).1.Good Picture Quality is a must! What's 'good picture quality' you ask? It's those types of pictures where it's super smooth, clean, sharp, and clear. How do you do that? Well, a super good tip, is to save your images as .png instead of .jpg. When you upload .jpg to the internet, it kinds of turns out blurry and things, but uploading as .png, it stays clear and sharp. Most sites use these images. You can also try editing it in Photoshop or Photofiltre to make it clearer or sharper.
2.Must have great poses/styles! Please do not copy the poses that the famous sitemodels do. Make your own and have fun! Do some crazy and cute face expressions, or try holding a balloon. Being random in pictures are good. I can not tell you how tired I am of seeing the constant 'camera-over-the-head' or the Myspace mirror pictures. It's old and it doesn't look good!
3. Wear cute clothes! Clothes are what attract people, so wear the cutest outfit in your closet. Or try piling up in random bead necklaces or bracelets. Make the most out of all the things you own!
4. Random Hairstyles are the bomb! I love sitemodels with unique hairstyles. It looks cute and also attracts more sites. If you have hair that isn't really easy to fix up (aka thick, frizzy hair or boring bland hair), try to embrace your imperfections! Let your hair flow in the wind, pin it up in a cute bow, wear colorful ribbons, braid it, use a haedband. Just like poses, be random. It looks beautiful.
5. The setting of your pictures have to be beautiful, at least. I looove sitemodels who take pictures outdoors. Outdoor photos are good, because the lighting is fantastic, and the scenery highlights more of you. Try taking pictures in your backyard lawn, or at the park, by the lake, at the beach, or even at school. If you don't have time to go outdoors to take pictures, indoors is fine. But make the most of your house. Take pictures by your bedside, on the stairs (if you have one) or maybe even of you eating in the kitchen! Remember, the 'camera-over-the-head' and mirror pictures get too old so don't do it!
6. Try with friends! It looks cute and fun! Take a group photo of you guys playing basketball, sharing an Ice Pop, swimming, or maybe just chilling out and laughing! Who knows? Maybe you guys could be a famous sitemodel group! ;)
7. Accesories, accesories, accesories! Taking pictures with teddy bears, stuffed toys, dolls, and even with your pets look good and attractive. If you don't have these, maybe some food or drinks will look good. What about you drinking Vitamin Water, eating pop-tarts, munching down popcorn, or sipping down a drink from Burger King? Remember, random is cute! Also, sunglasses, glasses, 'grillz', iPods, cellphones and books are cute. I'm sure you all know that.
